Battery Thermal Management System (Liquid-Cooled Condenser)

With both cooling and heating circuits, the EVantage L-CON BTMS optimizes the temperature range for an entire bank of batteries with a single unit in all types of environments –from hot summer afternoons to icy winter mornings. The L-CON BTMS uses the vehicle’s Electronics Cooling Package (ECP) to reject heat to ambient air, allowing the BTMS system to be placed anywhere on the chassis.

The master smart control system of the L-CON BTMS uses the battery pack or coolant temperature. It automatically selects the mode of operation to meet the batteries’ heating and cooling needs. It efficiently uses the coolant temperature sensor to adjust the coolant flow.

EVantage systems are designed for fast and easy integration into your chassis. All necessary heat exchangers, smart electric products, wiring and hoses are included, as well as a master controller and tailored firmware to provide complete operation upon delivery.

To find and fix issues before they occur, the system offers continuous datalogging of DM1 & DM2 faults and tracks the accumulated runtime on each component, enabling preventative maintenance. When a repair is needed, the included EVantage Maintenance and Diagnostics software makes it easy to find and fix the failure.
