2024 Battery and Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo

The Battery Show is a well-known global expo. It is annually exhibited in Stuttgart, Germany; Hong Kong, China; Greater Noida, India; Detroit, MI; and soon in Atlanta, GA. The Battery Show has also co-exhibited with Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology and Mobility Tech in China, expanding its appeal to a greater audience. The Battery Show and the Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology and Mobility Tech Show appeal to procurement and engineering audiences around the globe. On October 7, 8, & 9, the Battery and Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo was held at Huntington Place Convention Center in Detroit, MI. In previous years, the Battery and Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo was located at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI. Due to its growing popularity amongst the attendees and exhibitors, the Battery and Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo needed to move to a larger convention center. There were more than 21,000 attendees and 1,340 exhibitors. The Battery and Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo also offers conference sessions. These conference sessions provide the delegates information on design technology for batteries and vehicles, the latest industry trends, and open tech forums. Interest in the conferences has grown over the years. This year, there were 246 speakers and 1,266 conference delegates.

Because of its growing popularity, Modine exhibited at the Battery and Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo this year. Our booth was # 5743 in the expo’s Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology section. Our product showcase consisted of our Air-Cooled Condenser Battery Thermal Management System (A-CON BTMS), four fan electronics cooling package (ECP), and smart electric components. The A-CON BTMS is a thermal management system designed to regulate battery temperatures. With us showcasing our latest generation of our A-CON BTMS,  we were able to show the inner workings of the three thermal loops – active cooling and heating, and passive cooling.  The ECP regulates power electronics temperatures – inverters, converts, traction motors, and onboard chargers. We were excited to exhibit our new smart electronic High Voltage Compressor and 3-way coolant valve. The products we showcased created some great discussions among the attendees who visited our booth.

We enjoyed meeting everyone and hope you all enjoyed speaking with us, too. The Battery and Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo was such a positive experience for us that we will exhibit there next year. Please stop by booth # 225 to speak with us and see our latest products and services.
